Talking About Future Plans (Future Tense)
22.1 Introduction
We use the Future Tense to talk about plans, decisions, hopes, and actions that will happen in the future.
In English, future plans are commonly expressed using will and going to. Learning these forms helps you talk confidently about your goals and plans.
22.2 Rules of Future Tense
- Will → sudden decisions, promises, predictions
- Going to → planned actions, intentions
- Negative → will not / is not going to
- Question → Will / Is / Are + subject?
