‘मालू भालू’ एक नन्ही ध्रुवीय भालू की कहानी है जो जिज्ञासु और बहादुर है। वह दूर-दूर तक देखने-घूमने का सपना देखती है। माँ उसे समझाती है कि पहले तैरना सीखना ज़रूरी है। माँ के दृढ़ मार्गदर्शन में मालू डर और शंका छोड़कर पानी में कूदती है और पूरी ताकत से तैरना सीख जाती है। कविता संदेश देती है कि धैर्य, अभ्यास और माँ-बाप की सीख से डर दूर होता है और हम विशेष बनते हैं।
